2022 Spring Midwest Workout Showcase (April 16)
Brady Blake is a 2023 SS/IF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Indianola, IA who attends Indianola. He has a tall frame with long levers and plenty of room to fill. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.23 seconds. Primary shortstop that is athletic and showed clean actions to both sides of his body. He has nice range when working up the middle and has clean back hand mechanics. He fields the ball out in front of his body with soft hands and transfers the ball cleanly. He works through the ball and makes consistently accurate throws across the infield. Right-handed hitter that starts in a wider base with a slight knee bend. he has a leg lift trigger and has quick hands through the zone. He shifts his weight well, working through the hitting zone with his lower half. He has a line drive approach and showed nice power potential. Named to the Spring Midwest Workout Showcase (April 16) Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
