Cody (P.O.) Seals is a 2018 SS/3B, 2B, RHP with a 6-4 170 lb. frame from Ponca City, OK who attends Ponca City High School. Large build, lean, slender frame with room to continue to fill out physically. Posted a 7.42 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, athletic bend, got in good position to throw, clean release, with good arm strength. At the plate, started with a wide base, even stance, deep hand load and a high hand set. Line drive swing path, rotational at times, swings mostly with hands, and worked all fields. Developing bat speed and contact will improve with additional lower half in swing. Also pitched, repeated delivery well, online, long arm circle, and slight arm rigidness.Limited lower half and extension, would do well to drive more towards plate. Fastball worked 72-75 mph with true action and kept hitters off balance. Showed an 11/5 shaped curveball with depth and did well to keep it down in the zone. Good student.
