Dino Tharp is a 2018 SS/3B/OF with a 6-3 182 lb. frame from McCordsville, IN who attends Mt Vernon HS. Large frame with athletic present build, body projects well moving forward. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.00 seconds. Sets up to ht from even-based stance, wider spread, good balance in set. Smaller hand load, short to ball with hand path, does a good job getting on plane with hands and generating solid bat speed through the zone. Flashes pop to the pull field as well as ability to work to all fields on a line when squared up. Worked out in two spots. Shows solid range in the infield, works around the ball and flashes clean hands when fielding, arm strength across the diamond clocked up to 79 mph. Also showed well in the outfield, stops momentum to field deep between feet, some athletic bounce to movements, compact arm stroke with throws clocked up to 80 mph.
