Logan Schultheis is a 2019 2B/SS, OF with a 5-9 125 lb. frame from Harrison, OH who attends William Henry Harrison. Young, square shouldered frame, high waist, lean and projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Primary second baseman, fields the ball out front and funnels into release, short steps to the ball, can throw from multiple arm slots across, arm strength and overall footwork will continue to develop. Righthanded hitter, begins with an even base and shows balance to set up at the plate. Loads hands back at start of swing, stays short to the ball and keeps hands inside through swing. Contact approach with middle of the field contact, upper body dominant swing, bat speed will continue to increase with physical strength. Very good student.
