Logan Booker is a 2019 C with a 6-0 161 lb. frame from Eldridge, IA who attends North Scott HS. Lean, athletic build with room to fill out more in the future. Primary catcher with a staggered, balanced stance when receiving the baseball. Keeps weight forward on toes, ready to throw. Utilizes a medium arm circle in back, and released from a compact 3/4 arm slot. Gains good ground while making clean and accurate throws with good carry to the bag that topped out at 71 miles per hour. Best workout pop of 2.20 seconds. Right handed hitter with a crouched and slightly open batting stance. Uses a leg lift trigger for timing, and gets some shift into contact with the lower half. Loose path to contact, looking to drive the ball back up the middle and to the pull side with a line drive bat plane. Gets good jump off the barrel when meeting the ball out front. Good student as well.
