Jacob Wade is a 2016 OF/ with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Accokeek, MD who attends Gwynn Park HS. Medium frame, lean build, room to fill out physically as he continues to put on additional muscle. Posted a 6.97 60-yard dash, moves well. From the outfield, quick transfer from glove to hand, short footwork, full arm action on throws, developing strength and carry. At the plate, switch hitter. From the left side, starts with a narrow stance, high hand set, and high back elbow. High leg lift trigger into load. Swings on a line drive swing plane with a full swing. From the right side, starts with a narrow stance and a smaller leg lift. Simple approach from the right side with a small stride, more contact oriented. Present strength in swing from both sides. Excellent student.
