Trey Kueper is a 2019 C/3B with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Waterloo, IL who attends Waterloo HS. Compact frame with a lean build. Primary catcher with low, balanced stance while receiving the baseball. Gains some ground while working out of crouched with fundamentally sound lower half actions. Clean glove circle and exchange while working through transition. Throws generated softer carry to the bag topping at 66 miles per hour, best workout pop time of 2.27. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and simple front side trigger. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Loose hand path to contact with a linear barrel plane through extension. Primarily worked to the middle of the field and showed the barrel feel and strength to work to the gaps. Very good student as well.
