Tom Simonetti is a 2016 C/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Cold Spring Harbor, NY who attends Cold Spring Harbor HS. Lean, slender build with room to project further strength down the road. Shows some defensive tools behind the plate, developing as a receiver, has very quick release and transfer. Could clean up footwork, and work a bit more under control to harness throws to bases. Right handed hitter, shift back into load, some hand movement in attempt to lift and separate. Shows solid path to ball, sprays contact to all fields, able to repeat mechanics and execute approach pretty well. Tremendous student.
