Austin Dewise is a 2017 RHP/2B with a 5-7 148 lb. frame from Milton, FL who attends Milton HS. Compact, young build with some present strength for age. Shows some projection. Primary right handed pitcher, works exclusively from stretch. Works to high 3/4 arm slot, repeats delivery, can cut off his front side at times. Fastball up to 67 mph, pitch shows some sinking life, especially when located down in the strike zone, solid control of offering, able to throw it for strikes. Also mixes in curveball with 12/6 shape, still developing feel for offering but also has ability to throw it for strikes. Outstanding student.
