Raymond Anderson is a 2008 OF with a 5'10'', 170 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Lassiter HS. Anderson has a smaller, athletic build with some quick twitch strength. Anderson is an excellent runner both in form and in speed. He ran a 6.45 60 in Cincinnati and was consistently right around 4.1 to first base from the left side. Anderson has a leadoff/speed approach at the plate that fits his physical abilties well. He has a quick bat and stays short and inside the ball and most often puts the ball on the ground or on a line. His best power is to left centerfield. Anderson is a polished baserunner who causes havoc when he gets on. Anderson's defensive tools play best in left field because of his below average arm strength but he tracks down balls well and has a quick release and good fundamentals.

Raymond Anderson is a 2008 OF from Lassiter High School in Marietta, GA, with a 5'9'', 158 lb. frame. Named to the Top Prospect Team at the event. Anderson is an athletic looking player with good speed. Defensively he moves well to the ball showing good reactions and balance. On his throws he has a smooth release with good arm strength and accuracy. Anderson has an advanced approach in the outfield with high level skills. At the plate he has hand quickness from the left side, and makes good adjustments with his hands. Anderson has very good bat speed with a line drive swing plane, and makes consistently solid contact. Currently he is a gap to gap hitter who should hit many extra base hits. He stays back on the ball well and has the ability to go the other way. Anderson is a must follow, who is a good student as well.
