2014 Midwest Top Prospect Showcase
James Leitch is a 2015 RHP/SS with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Cheney, KS who attends Bishop Carroll Catholic HS. Tall angular athletic build, projects well physically. High 3/4's to over the top arm action, has a quick loose arm with good extension out front, tends to fall off on release and miss up in the zone at times. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 86 mph, mostly straight, velocity projects in the future as he gets stronger. Nice low-70's curveball with good power and spin, showed a deep 11/5 break at times.
