Kyle Ehlers is a 2018 3B/RHP, 1B, 2B, OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Raleigh, NC who attends Needham Broughton HS. Recorded a 7.60 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with good present size and broad shoulders. Primary third baseman with solid footwork and a quick gather. Good present arm strength up to 84 mph across. Smoothness to actions and the ball comes out cleanly. Secondary righthanded pitcher who threw from an over the top arm slot. Leg lift above the belt and hides the ball well. Located well to the glove side and could create plane on the fastball. Mixed in 12/6 curveball with good depth. Righthanded hitter with a stride into contact from a toe tap trigger. Coils inward through the swing and utilizes a level, line drive swing plane. Some barrel whip and bat speed present. Barrel stays through the hitting zone for a long time. Great student.
