Zach Palumbo is a 2017 OF/RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Bedford, TX who attends Trinity HS. Tall and lean build, lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, long and loose swing, gets fully extended, head and front side tends to pull off early, looks to pull the ball, lacks present strength but should continue to improve as he gets stronger. 7.15 runner, shows some young arm strength, accurate on line throws, charges the ball well and has good actions to build on. Also pitched, easy well paced delivery, repeats well, stays on line, medium effort on release. Fastball to 77 mph, gets good running life and able to keep the ball down in the zone. Sweeping curveball with 10/4 shape, good depth at times. Good student.
