Joel Quirin is a 2017 SS/2B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Glen Carbon, IL who attends Edwardsville HS. Slender young build, lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, big leg kick and shift into contact, has good timing, looks to hit the ball out front and drive it, has some bat speed from a loose and easy swing, squared the ball up with hard line drive contact, has some hitting tools to develop over time and with additional strength. 7.53 runner, good baserunner. Second base actions and profile defensively, throws cross body with a low flipping arm action, accurate throws, charges the ball well. Good student.
