Tyler Foote is a 2018 OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from St. Louis, MO who attends John Burroughs. Excellent size and build, especially considering age. Strong throughout with projection remaining for future growth and added strength. Stands square to home plate when at bat; employs a toe tap trigger with good hands and balance throughout swing. Shows good bat speed with the ability to square the baseball consistently. Strong swing with power behind it, really solid hitting tools especially when age is considered. Very aggressive approach, looks to swing early and often. Worked out in the outfield during drills and showed solid tools all around. Topped out at 79 MPH with good accuracy and a quick release. Showed quality footwork before and during an exaggerated crow hop that generates good momentum towards target. Very good student.
