Dane Lamont is a 2015 3B/1B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Whitefish Bay, WI who attends Marquette University HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base and stays balanced well, will fall back onto his back side at times, pull to mid field approach, line drive swing plane, ball comes off the barrel hard when squared up. 7.52 runner, stays balanced on defense with good footwork, compact arm action with fair arm strength, can improve quickness in exchange and release. Good student.
