Brian Arnold is a 2020 SS/2B with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Warren, NJ who attends Seton Hall Preparatory School. Recorded a 5.01 second 40-yard dash. Lean athletic frame with some twitchiness and room for additional strength. Primary shortstop with good movements, actions, and ranges well from side to side. Can manipulate slot with intent and has arm strength recorded up to 75 mph but plays up with a quick release. Throws on the run well and has good balance and footwork. Righthanded hitter with a spread open stance, small leg lift trigger, and an inside hand path. Works to all fields with a high hand set and high back elbow. Best when getting hands fully extended and driving the ball out in front. Excellent student.
