Will Copes is a 2019 2B/3B/UT with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Missouri City, TX who attends Lawrence E Elkins HS. Slender young athletic build. 7.48 runner, moves well laterally in the infield on defense with balanced athletic reactions, good hands at the ball, athleticism projects, made some outstanding plays off his feet both in the infield and outfield during the games. Right handed hitter, has a short swing with good extension through contact, handles the barrel well, showed he could turn on the ball and show power in the games. Performed much better in games than in drills overall. Good student.
