Dalton Barcello is a 2017 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Klein Forest HS. Barcello has a medium sized frame with a lean build. Defensively he takes choppy steps to the baseball and has good actions through the baseball. He showed solid footwork and good hands. Barcello showed good arm strength up to 86 MPH with good carry on his throws. At the plate, he starts with a balanced stance and has a simple approach at the plate. He has good extension in his swing and showed good barrel skills. Barcello squared the ball up well and showed some pop to the pull side. He has some looseness to his swing and showed good hitting tools. Barcello showed some aggressiveness at the plate with good upside. He also pitched with a quick arm action with an online delivery. Excellent student, named to Top Prospect Team.
