Kyle Madden is a 2008 C/1B with a 6'4", 225 lb frame from Powder Springs, GA who attends Harrison HS. Kyle has a strong well-developed build and showed a good set of raw hitting tools at the showcase. He has a balanced leveraged approach at the plate with a short swing that projects a good amount of power. Kyle has a line-drive swing plane and drives the ball the best to the middle of the field. He has the tools to project as a highest level hitter at the next level. Behind the plate Kyle has a strong arm to go along with a fairly quick release. He struggles with his receiving some, but has the athletic ability to be a solid catcher. Kyle is a solid student that should attract the attention of many mid to high-level college programs.

Kyle Madden is a 2008 C/1B with a 6'3'', 222 lb. frame from Powder Springs GA, who attends Harrison HS. He has a very strong build for his age, with thick features, and doesn't have much room to add more strength. Madden ran the 60 in 7.60 and threw 76 mph from behind the plate during catching drills with a best pop time of 1.94. Madden receives the ball well and has very good arm strength. He could make some adjustments to get rid of the ball more quickly, although that is hard to do at Madden's size. He also plays some first base. Offensively, Madden has a very short swing for his size and has a quick bat and good bat speed. He pulls his hands in to pull the ball very well. Madden's power should come when he learns to get his hands extended through the ball but he has the physical tools and bat head skills to become a very good hitter. He's a solid young catching prospect. Madden is also a very good student.

Kyle Madden is a 6'3" 215 pound 2008 catcher and first baseman from Harrison High School in Powder Springs, Georgia who was named to the Top Prospect Team. He has a big strong body who moves very well for his size. Kyle has a quiet set up at the plate with high hands. He has strong hands that he keeps inside the ball very well with good bat speed. He hits through the ball and the ball really jumps off his bat.He has big time power potential. Madden blocks balls very well behind the plate and has a very good arm. He threw 78 mph down to first with a 2.00 pop time. Kyle is a leader on the field and is also a good student with a 3.25 gpa.
