LJ Talley is a 2015 SS/RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Folkston, GA who attends Charlton County HS. Medium frame, long athletic build with room to fill, projectable. Bat really stood out. Balanced approach, good swing mechanics, line drive plane, good present bat speed with projection. Slightly open stance, good in-game approach, smooth stroke, athletic swing actions, some strength at contact, potential to develop power, very good in-game ABs and round of BP. Pitches from three quarter arm slot, simple delivery with sound mechanics, medium arm action, online delivery, good shape on 11-5 curveball, good fading action on changeup that he can locate for strikes. Flashed a quality knuckleball with late darting action, low effort delivery, solid on mound as well but the bat was what stood out most. Interesting young player to follow. Good student.
