Carlo Graffeo is a 2015 RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Covington, LA who attends St. Paul's HS. Medium athletic build, good lower half strength. Calm paced turn and throw delivery, cross body on release, short quick arm action, hides ball well, tight high 3/4's release slot, some effort on release, showed better stuff and command out of the stretch. Mid 80's fastball, topped out at 88 mph, mostly straight, primary fastball pitcher, tends to miss arm side with his fastball due to delivery direction. Slurve type breaking ball, flashed hard downer depth and bite, tends to shorten arm arch and slow down on change up, will need to improve use and consistency of off speed pitches. Young pitcher with a very strong arm, lots of potential to keep developing. Good student.

Carlo Graffeo is a 2015 RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Covington, LA who attends St. Paul's HS. Medium build with a strong build. Pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with an arm that works well, clean repeatable mechanics, and an easy delivery. Fastball has arm side run to it, slider is a good pitch with bite, mixes his pitches well, and has good command of them. Is aggressive with his fastball and it gets on hitters quick. Starts with a squared stance at the plate, with strength in his swing, has good balance, makes good consistent contact at the plate. Is an intriguing prospect to follow on the mound and is a good student.
