Matthew Randolph is a 2014 SS/RHP, UT with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Concord, NC who attends Cannon School. Long frame, thin lanky build with room to fill. Low hand set, rotational swing, extends arms, aggressive swing, could use more lower half in swing to generate power, contact approach at present. Loose arm action, good defensive actions in middle infield. Pitches from three quarter arm slot, short arm action, throws a lot of strikes, loose arm action, straight changeup with good sinking action, good depth on 11-5 curveball. Very good student.
