Laren Eustace is a 2014 OF/LHP with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Batavia, IL who attends Batavia. Eustace has a smaller frame with an athletic build. He's a plus runner at 6.59 and gets good jumps in the outfield. He has good actions in the outfield with a quick release. He's got some arm strength and is a fast twitch athlete. At the plate, Eustace has a balanced swing and takes his hands to the ball well. He showed some bat speed and hand quickness in his swing. Eustace showed some pop and some lift in his swing at times. He showed some hitting tools. Eustace pitches downhill and attacks the strike zone. He has a long loose arm action and maintains balance through his delivery. Excellent student.
