Ian Hamilton is a 2013 OF/RHP with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Vancouver, WA who attends Skyview HS. Medium athletic build, good present strength. 7.07 runner, right handed hitter, spread stance, busy feet, upper half rotational swing, pretty short to the ball with his hands, smooth and loose out front, some uppercut in his swing plane, creates very good bat speed at times, ball jumps well, best contact pulling, has power potential. Also pitched, raw delivery, inconsistent balance and direction, 3/4's arm slot. Mid 80's fastball, topped out at 88 mph, mostly straight, primary fastball pitcher, some spin on 73 mph curveball, slows arm on change up. Good student, verbal commitment to Oregon State.

Ian Hamilton is a 2013 OF/RHP, C with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Vancouver, WA who attends Skyview. Lean athletic build. High level two-way player. Bat is best present tool with good bat speed and flashes occasional present home run power with even more to come. Hits from a slightly open stance, leg lift trigger, quick hands, stays inside the ball well and has a short balanced swing. High level hitting tools matched by impressive arm. Up to 90 with fastball on the mound, loose arm action, decent command, curve and change both up to 76 are solid secondary offerings. Good defensive actions in the outfield, arm is an asset defensively. Interesting 2013 prospect to follow.
