Cord Sandberg is a 2013 OF/1B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends Manatee HS. Outstanding athletic build, strong and fast. 6.64 runner, really moves well for size, multiple diving catches in the outfield, really closes on ball well, longer arm action, good footwork, some arm strength. Left handed hitter, aggressive hitter, upper half rotational swing, quick strong swing, plus power potential, shows his inexperience at times but shows top of the charts potential at others. Big time quarterback prospect, limited baseball repetitions but very high ceiling talent. Very good student, verbal commitment to Mississippi State for football.
