Andrew English is a 2015 OF/1B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Fort Lauderdale, FL who attends American Heritage HS. Slender athletic build, lots of room to fill out. 7.41 runner, very nice outfield arm for his age, has good footwork and throwing mechanics, clean actions to the ball, projects a plus arm as he matures. Right handed hitter, tall stance, limited stride and shift in his swing, loose swing with a high finish, some developing bat speed, pull approach and tends to hit around the ball, will improve with additional strength and better hitting rhythm/shift. Nice athlete who really projects well, would like to see on the mound, too. Very good student. Named to the Top Prospect Team.
