During the infield workout, he showed good range with a quick first step. He works around the ball with solid actions and has solid arm strength with good accuracy. At the plate, he hits from a crouched stance with good rhythm and has a fluid stroke. He displayed quick hands and good bat speed with a high extended finish. Michael has a line drive swing plane with a gap to gap approach with power to pull side. He is also a good student.

Medium build with broad shouldered frame, room to get stronger. 7.00 runner, plays defense under control, deliberate actions, soft hands, compact arm action with quick release, good arm strength for age, could grow into third base. Right handed hitter, open with high hands, gets to front side early, swings hard, quick hands with some bat speed, hard line drive contact, covers the plate well, can drive the ball the opposite way, has lift in his swing. Also pitched, high 3/4's arm slot, extended long arm action, mid 70's fastball, pitches from stretch. Projects very well as an athlete and hitter. Follow closely. Very good student. Named to the Top Prospect Team.
