Versatile defensive player, flexible quick actions behind the plate, shifts well, throwing actions tend to be long, 2.01 best pop time. Has the speed and arm strength for corner outfield slots, moves well to the ball, accurate on line throws, can probably play corner IF positions as well. Left handed hitter, quick hands, good bat speed, some lift in swing, hard mid field line drive contact, has swing adjustments to make to grow his power potential but can handle the barrel. Very good student.

Chace Sarchet is a 2014 C/OF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Lubbock, TX who attends Lubbock Coronado HS. Long and loose athletic build, some present strength. Left handed hitter, nice loose swing, short to the ball for his size, easy bat speed, best contact pulling, sees the ball very well in games, lots of projection with the bat, 7.15 runner. Long actions behind the plate, arm works very well, over the top release, on line accurate throws. Also plays outfield, charges well, good footwork, shows his athleticism, accurate throws, arm is very projectable, grades out higher defensively as an outfielder at present. Lots of tools to develop. Excellent student.
