Brady Aiken is a 2014 LHP/OF with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Jamul, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic HS. Large well proportioned build, very strong look. Well paced leg raise delivery, stays balanced and over rubber well, extended high 3/4's arm slot, very sound repeatable mechanics. Consistent 87-88 mph fastball, mostly straight but spots it effectively, curveball shows depth, bite and tightness, more 2/8 slurve type shape at present, nice feel for change up with nice arm speed. Three very good pitches and the ability to use them, polished approach. Left handed hitter, shows strength in swing, looks to pull and lift, has some bat speed, long and loose, likes the ball down and in. First base look and actions, good arm strength from the outfield, 7.68 runner. Verbal commitment to UCLA.

Brady Aiken is a 2014 LHP/OF with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Jamul, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic HS. Very strong and athletic build for a 2014. Primary left handed pitcher, has been mid 80's this summer, did not pitch here. Prospect level hitting tools, good swing mechanics, quick hands, shows bat speed and lift to the middle of the field, squares it up well. Sound fundamentally in the outfield, good release, proper footwork, accurate arm. We look forward to seeing him pitch more.
