Hunter Phillips is a 2014 1B/OF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA who attends Centennial HS. Medium build with good present strength, looks athletic. Long arm action from the outfield, decent arm, skills still developing in the field. Left-handed hitter, starts from a very still stance, quiet setup, doesn't shift his weight, gets very good extension out front, and flashes good bat speed. Pull side approach, shows power to that side as well, clears his hips early, shows knowledge of the strike zone and a sound approach. Very good student.
