Joseph Zurawik is a 2012 MIF/RHP with a 5-10 159 lb. frame from Bixby, OK who attends Bishop Kelley HS. Lean slender build, has some deceptive strength. Right handed hitter, straight stance, quiet load, uses hands well, smooth swing with good balance, gets hips going a bit early, creates bat speed, solid line drive contact, can get the ball to the gaps. Good arm strength defensively, quick compact release, throws carry, hands work well at the ball, will need to improve foot quickness to stay in the middle infield, 7.20 runner. Also pitched, quick loose arm, gets closed and balanced, steady mid 80's fastball with cutting action, sweeping slurve type breaking ball. Good student.

Much better actions at 2B than SS, better balance, quicker release, arm strength plays better. Low hand load at the plate, balanced stance, rotational swing, tends to get under balls due to hand set, some bat speed, loose high finish. Also pitched, low 80's fastball to 83 mph, occasional cutting action on FB, shows arm strength, hard spin on CB with late bite, has some mound potential. Good student.
