Ryan Avidano is a 2014 LHP/1B with a 6-6 191 lb. frame from Fayetteville, GA who attends Starr's Mill HS. Very tall for his age, long and lean. Clean delivery, full arm circle, 3/4's arm slot, stays on line well, loose arm coming through, repeats well. Low 80's fastball, topped out at 83, standard southpaw running action. Curveball has some power and spin, good 1/7 tilt and late break, shows some feel for his change up, late sink with good arm speed. Showed command of both sides of the plate, feel for all 3 pitches. Very projectable, no doubt he will keep improving. Showed tools as a first base prospect, smooth defensive actions, sound swing mechanics, loose swing with some leverage, mid field lift, can drive the ball a bit and will improve his power with more strength. Follow very closely!
