Tyler Langdon is a 2014 2B/3B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Pendleton, IN who attends Mt Vernon HS. Langdon has a medium sized frame with a lean build. Defensively he throws with a short arm action and has some arm strength. He is smooth to the baseball and has solid defensive actions. Langdon makes accurate throws and shows better actions on plays to his forehand. At the plate, Langdon starts with an open stance and swings from a crouch. He swings on a line drive plane and made good line drive contact in BP. Langdon swings off his front side and stays inside the ball well. He has some bat speed and has a contact approach. Solid hitting tools to improve with. Very good student.
