Nicholas Sciortino is a 2013 SS/RHP with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Barrington, NJ who attends Haddon Heights HS. Compact strong build. 7.42 runner, third base tools and actions, good arm strength, soft hands and quick release, will have to work on improving lower half quickness and agility. Right handed hitter, leg lift trigger, high hands to start, quiet approach, tends to be late starting hands, some strength at contact, mid to opposite field line drive contact. Also pitched, simple low effort delivery, compact arm action, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball to 83 mph, good depth on 12/6 downer curveball, maintained arm speed on change, threw strikes and got quick outs. Good student.

Solid athletic build, good present strength. 7.26 runner, good body life, good infield actions, soft hands, strong arm with on line throws, should be able to play multiple positions. Right handed hitter, sound fundamental swing, stays inside, swings hard, has bat speed, solid line drive contact, squares up consistently. Also pitched, balanced delivery, loose arm, ball comes out easily, fastball topped out at 85 mph, almost all fastballs, threw strikes. Versatile athlete who should continue to improve. Good student. Named to the Top Prospect team.
