Jack Barton is a 2012 RHP/2B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Keller, TX who attends Keller HS. Lean atheltic build, room to fill out and add strength. 3/4 arm slot on the mound, short easy arm action, stays tall, good downhill plane, sharp 10-4 curveball, good tailing action on fastball, makes hitters put the ball on the ground, works quick, good tempo, deceptive, very good pitchability. Line-drive hitting approach, good hands, quickness in swing, short simple swing, barrells up well, consistent hard contact in batting practice, strong student.
