Daniel LaMorte is a 2013 RHP with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Manalapan, NJ who attends St John Vianney. Strong build with strength throughout. Right hander who works very quickly, medium leg kick, throws from high 3/4 slot. Goes after hitters and challenges up in zone. Short arm action, short in back. Wide seperation, short out front. Fastball shows late sink and arm side run. Good feel for straight changeup. Mixes well, showed curveball. Throws strikes and has some pitchability. Very good student.
