Trevor Lane is a 2012 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from North Bend, WA who attends Mt. Si. Lane is a strong and well built athlete, strength throughout. Fundamentally sound in all aspects of his game, looked good in the outfield, takes himself to the ball well and comes through on his throws. At the plate he hits from an open stance and uses an aggressive approach. He gets good leverage and incorporates his strong lower half into his swing and drives the ball. Hit well in game play, and the ball exits and carries well off his bat, has strength to opposite field. Interesting guy on the mound and wish we would have seen him for another inning, as he was getting stronger and showing more velocity as the inning went on. Methodical delivery with good pace, repeats mechanics. Good armspeed, well balanced delivery with a business like approach to pitching, good presence on the mound. Talented two-way player and a strong follow. Good student.
