Connor Jones is a 2013 LHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA who attends Johns Creek HS. Broad shouldered athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. Hunched over delivery, compact arm action, quick arm coming through, could extend better. Mid 80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph, nasty cutting action on fastball, consistent slider depth and shape even at top velo's, could develop into 2 or 3 separate pitches with experience. tends to slow arm/body on curveballl. Rare change up. Throws strikes with all pitches. Fastball movement and slider/cutter potential very interesting. Good student.
