Good arm speed, throws from 3/4 slot. Downhill plane, online with smooth, repeatable mechanics. Fastball has life to arm side, curveball with 1/7 break and depth. Changeup comes out well with sink and clean arm action. Change may be best pitch. Consistent top performer at PG events.

Joseph Palumbo is a 2013 LHP with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Holbrook, NY who attends St John the Baptist HS. Very young, slender build, looks like a 2014, everything projects well. Smooth low effort delivery, good balance, clean arm action, high 3/4's arm slot, can be more consistent with overall mechanics/release point but basics in place. Steady mid 80's fastball, some arm side run at times. Big breaking curveball, 1/7 shape with good spin and bite, shows nice feel for throwing CB for strikes, didn't see change up. Was throwing upper 70's at this time last year, no reason he should stop adding velocity now.

Fastball has late life. Cruvegball with 1/7 break, depth and feel, Gets ahead and is around plate with all pitches. Very good present pitcher with big projection for more. Follow very closely.
