Jonathan Strangio is a 2006 right handed pitcher/middle infielder from Rockville Centre, NY, with a lanky 5'11", 145 pound frame. As a pitcher, he uses minimal effort on a 78 mph fastball with slight arm side run. His curveball could be his best pitch as he consistently throws it for strikes at 69 mph with a good 10-4 break. He also mixed in a changeup at 72 mph with some sink. Offensively, he has good balance with a short stroke and line drive swing. Strangio also has nice actions in the infield, and is a smart player who played hard. Jonathan is a very strong student.
