Serenbetz is a lanky 6-4, 175 lb left handed pitcher from Connecticut. He has a mechanical delivery and a multi-part arm action that is not especially projectable at this point. Serenbetz pitched aggressively with his fastball at 75-78 mph and had good command of this pitch. His 65 mph curveball had fair spin and bite and he didn’t command this pitch as well as his fastball during his 2 innings of work. Serebetz also threw a 71 mph change up. He worked quickly and made hitters put the ball in play. Serebetz is also a switch-hitter who plays some first base. He ran the 60 in 7.44 and threw 74 mph from first base. Serebetz hits from a spread no stride stance with a late hand load from both sides of the plate. He has a better swing from the left side with some late bat speed and some lift in his swing. Serenbetz is an exceptional student.
