George Nurisso is a 2012 LHP/1B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Avon, CT who attends Avon. Athletic build, well-developed body. High 3/4 arm slot on the mound, long arm circle, nice cutting action on fastball, feel for 1-7 curveball, around the plate with all pitches, good mound presence, will throw harder with more out of lower half. Aggressive hitting approach, good opposite field contact, will project more at the plate with adjustments in approach. Solid around the bag at first base. Strong student.
