Scott Heineman is a 2011 RHP/MIF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Pacific Palisades, CA who attends Crespi HS. Nice athletic frame, some present strength. Primary RHP, balanced controlled delivery, clean arm circle. Consistent 85-87 mph fastball, good sinking life low in zone, limited present feel for soft CB/Chg as off speed, tended to pitch backwards. Liked much better as right handed hitter on a short look, very good bat speed, sound balanced mechanics, quick hands, squares it up well, nice looking swing, 6.80 runner. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Oregon.
