Andrew Arp is a 2009 SS/P/OF from Mary Persons HS, residing in Forsyth, Georgia, with a lanky and athletic 6'1"/160 pound frame. Andrew hits from a slightly open and crouched stance with a knee lift trigger. He has a no stride approach with a short bat path. Arp has a short quick swing and makes consistent solid contact. He has a quick arm across the infield with a quick release. Andrew has a solid arm at 75 mph and moves well defensively. On the mound, Arp pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with an online delivery and a good finish. He has a downward plane to the plate and will throw inside. His fastball has slight arm side run at 76 mph and he has a short 11-5 curveball at 65 mph. Andrew is an excellent student.
