Kyle Morton is a 2007 OF/1B with a 6'3'', 195 lb. frame from Mississauga, ON who attends Meadowvale SS. He has a long limbed, lean build with projectable strength. Morton's tool is his bat. He's a left handed hitter who hits out of a tall stance with hands close to his body. Morton's swing doesn't look especially smooth or powerful but the results are impressive. He tends to take his hands with his body forward and slaps at the ball, but he has very strong hands and the ball really carries well off his bat. Morton handles the bat head well and squares up well against different types of pitches. He hit some balls to centerfield that really carried well and more strength will just add to his power. Morton plays both outfield and first base and may end up at first base in the future. He has pretty good speed at 7.21 but has left field actions at best.

Kyle Morton is a 2007 OF/1B with a 6'3'', 190 lb. frame from Mississauga ON, who attends Meadowvale SS. He has a tall, angular build with good projection for strength gains. Morton is a left handed hitter who hits out of an open stance with tight hands. His swing fundamentals and balance are raw, but the ball really jumped off of Morton's bat a few times when he got his hands extended through the ball. There is lots of power hiding in Morton's swing that isn't coming out now with any consistency, but it's in there. The ball jumped up the alley a couple of times. Morton is a good runner for his size at 7.08. His outfield actions and arm strength are best suited for left field. He's a good follow with his potential to hit from the left side.
