Seth Freeman is a 2008 C/RHP from Cherryville HS in Cherryville, NC with a 5'11", 155 lb. frame. Seth has a lean athletic build and showed off solid speed at the showcase. (7.24) At the plate Seth has a short swing that lacked extension. He will need to work on his overall swing mechanics. Behind the plate Seth has a quick release and moves well behind the plate. He has tools that might also allow him to play a little bit of second base. Seth looks like a player that could attract the attention of some smaller colleges.
