Christopher Snyder is a 2007 MIF/OF with a 5'8'', 155 lb. frame from Amma WV, who attends Roane County HS. He has a medium to slender frame and some wiry strength. Snyder ran the 60 in 7.42 but we've had him in the 6.90's at events before and he's a quick runner. He has very nice range and first step quickness on defense and gets to a lot of balls. His arm strength and overall actions profile to second base. Offensively, Snyder is a switch hitter who shows better timing and better bat speed from the left side. He has a short rotational swing from both sides and hits mostly to the opposite field. Snyder is going to work counts, take walks, put the ball on the ground and try to use his speed as a hitter. More physical strength will help him develop as a hitter to create more bat speed. Snyder is a scrappy, hustling player who is going to max out his tools. He is also an outstanding student.

Christopher Snyder is a 2007 MIF/OF from Roane County HS in Amma, WV, with a 5'8", 155 lb. frame. Christopher has a lean athletic build and was able to produce one of the top 60-yard times at the event. At the plate Christopher hits with a closed stance and high elbow that produces a smooth lift in his swing. He showed solid bat speed and the ability to go to all fields. With the type of speed that Christopher showed at the Sunshine East he projects at many different positions. Small colleges around the country should keep track of this player.

Christopher Snyder is a 5'8" 155 pound 2007 middle infielder and outfielder from Amma, West Virginia who attends Roane County High School. He is a switch hitter who showed good speed by running a 7.37 60 and a 4.38 down the line. Christopher has a nice swing from both sides of the plate. He has a gap to gap approach with good projectable power. From the left side, he uses a much wider stance and has a little more lift in his swing. In the field, Snyder has solid hands and a good glove. He has a decent arm which he showed by throwing 72 mph across the infield. Christopher should get stronger and we feel he is just turning the corner on his maturity and is a player to watch. He is also an excellent student with a 4.0 gpa.
