George Piccirilli is a 2008 C/RHP/IF that attends Osbourn Park HS and resides in Manassas, VA with a 5'10", 180 lb. frame. George has a well-developed build and has some of the best catching tools in his class. At the plate George has good fast-twitch tools with quick hands and good bat speed. He needs to work on his weight transfer and leverage in his swing, but he has the tools to be a solid hitter in college. Behind the plate he has a very strong arm with a quick release. He could probably step in right now and be a solid Division I catcher. On the mound George attacks hitters from an OH arm slot with a smooth balanced delivery. He has a tight 12 to 6 CB and will be a very effective high school pitcher. George is a solid student that should attract attention from the highest-level college programs.

George Piccirilli is a 2008 C/RHP/IF that attends Osbourn Park HS and resides in Manassas, VA with a 5'9", 165 lb. frame. George has a lean athletic build and was the top prospect at the showcase. With two years to go in high school George put up great numbers behind the plate. (75, 1.95) At the plate George shows good line-drive contact with quick hands. He has a tendency to dip his back shoulder some and will need to work on leveling out his upper half. Behind the plate George showed the quick release and strong arm needed to be a quality college catcher. In a brief appearance on the mound George showed a short compact arm action with a sharp 10 to 4 CB. George works quick and could be a very effective high school pitcher. George is a player that should attract the attention of many high-level college programs.
