Ronnie Sucre is a 2009 3B/MIF that attends Christopher Columbus HS and resides in Miami, FL with a 6'0", 175 lb. frame. Ronnie has an athletic build and good all-around set of tools. At the plate Ronnie has a wide-balanced stance with good strength and bat speed in his swing. His swing is short and he drove line-drives to all parts of the field during batting practice. Ronnie looks very comfortable in the box and should give high school pitchers a lot of trouble. In the field Ronnie shows off very nice hands with an accurate arm. His release is quick and could play any position in the field. Ronnie is a player that you can tell has been around the game for a long time.
